By purchasing the minimum of a full set of House Plans you are granted the right to build that home one time. It is illegal to make copies from home plans. Only the original purchaser has the right to build from the building plans purchased.
The information, plans and specifications contained in these documents is provided "as is" without warranty, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Sensible Home Design assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in these plans. The purchaser of these plans must review the plan for errors and local code issues before construction.
These documents could include technical or other inaccuracies or typographical errors. Sensible Home Design assumes no liability for errors or omissions in these documents and reserves the right to make changes at any time.
Sensible Home Design uses Paypal.com for Secure Online Orders and Credit Card transactions. Cash and Checks are also accepted, but checks must clear before plans are sent. There is a $35 minimum fee for returned checks.
Plans Include:
Construction plans are detailed, clear and concise. All plans are designed by Sensible Home Design. Each plan is designed to meet International Residential Code at the time the plan was drawn.
Exterior Elevations: show the front, rear and sides of the house, including exterior materials, details and measurements.
Foundation Plans:include drawings for a standard, daylight or partial basement, crawlspace, pier, or slab foundation. All necessary notations and dimensions are included. (Foundation options can vary. For the foundation you desire, contact Sensible Home Design.)
Floor Plans: show the placement of interior walls and the dimensions for rooms, doors, windows, stairways, etc., of each level of the house.
Roof Plans and Details:
Show the roof plan and all necessary details to build the home. (Wall sections, Footings, stairways, etc.)
Purchaser agrees to comply with all local codes and building regulations. The house plans featured in Sensible Home Design comply with the International Building Code in effect at the time they were drawn. Because local and state building regulations vary from region to region, Sensible Home Design authorizes the sale and uses of these plans expressly conditioned upon the purchaser's obligation and agreement to strictly comply with all applicable codes, ordinances, regulations and requirements.
Purchaser agrees to check and verify all dimensions and materials before construction.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy, compliance with applicable statute or regulation, and fitness of purpose of any plans or construction information received from Sensible Home Design prior to use thereof. In the event any liability is imposed on Sensible Home Design, Sensible Home Design's liability to you or any third party shall not exceed the price paid for Sensible Home Design's product.
